Reports to: CEO

The onboarding manager is responsible for managing a team. The role includes communicating company goals, values, and deadlines to the Team. They will also motivate the team members while assessing their performance. The onboarding manager will also provide help to the management level. Assistance in that context includes hiring, training, and updating them on team performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for communication between team members and management regarding policies and general concerns.

Major areas of responsibility

  • To support the CEO and Operations Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • To take the leading role on process reviews, innovative measures, and the implementation of quality control in all onboarding processes.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders.
  • Lead the team by example, always providing a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Support the operations manager in raising awareness of our business goals and the role of each individual in execution.
  • Support other departments to enhance service levels and improve efficiency.
  • Develop a strategy for gaining feedback and applying it to positive change.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with clients.
  • Support management with the hiring. Including processing new team members taking responsibility for training, and ensuring training plans are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Oversee training, update, and execute training plans. Regularly review and update training procedures as needed.
  • Communicates sales targets, deadlines, and service-level agreements.
  • Develop strategies to facilitate team adherence to company regulations.
  • Provides high-quality customer service, including answering customer inquiries and dealing with complaints effectively.
  • Acting as the point of escalation for the team.
  • Support the leads on projects as needed.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Education

A college degree is preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the following elements:

  • A fast-paced corporate HR environment. Experience with shared services is preferred.
  • IT works with good excel skills.
  • Team leadership.
  • Building, delivering, and maintaining MI.
  • The implementation and improvement of process reviews.
  • Work with large numbers.
  • Sector-relevant experience and a background in digital marketing are preferred.

Technical Skills

Must be computer literate and proficient in essential management tools. You will learn to utilize new tools on the job.

Language and Communication

  • Excellent written and spoken English level.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English OR German language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
